Worthington Martial Arts Classes

"The word awesome comes to mind and then gratitude and then development and so much more."

I’m smiling 😃right now as I think about the changes I’ve seen in my son. He just received his white with orange stripe sash at US KUO SHO. Let me give you some context. The word awesome comes to mind and then gratitude and then development and so much more. I looked for a place that had marshall arts and took students that are on the autism spectrum. Why is that important🤔? For me it was because we wanted to ensure the difference in learning would not lead to frustration. We wanted him to thrive and that’s what he did. We went in with the goal of him having more physical balance (for his gait), self confidence and strength. It has been almost 3 months and we have seen things that have moved me to tears. His balance has improved where he is not longer waddling. He works on his character development everyday – thx to the sheets from the school. The teachers here are amazing and they are actively involved in my sons development with himself, at home, at school and in the community. I’m so thankful and invite you as a parent to try them out — you WILL NOT be disappointed❤️.

Tien Shan Pai is the style of Kung Fu we teach. It originates from the mountains of Northwestern China and is known for its effective fighting style but features graceful empty-hand and weapons forms.

Worthington Tai Ji Quan

Our school enjoys a large emphasis on Tai Chi (Tai Ji Quan). Tai Chi is a Chinese martial art focusing on internal and external well-being. Also known as moving meditation, Tai Chi combines meditative practices with full-body coordination. Tai Chi is making headlines as a full-body mind and body wellness activity for people of all ages to stay fit, balanced, and youthful.
