He is a 4th degree Black Sash under the certification standards of The World Kuoshu Federation.
A national, international and World level champion, Master Green has placed 1st, 2nd and 3rd in empty hand forms, weapons forms and pushing hands at national and international Chinese martial arts tournaments. He was awarded seven medals at the 2nd World Kuoshu Championship Tournament, held by The World Kuo Shu Federation in 2006 in Singapore. These medals include: 1st place in Yang-style taijiquan form, 1st place in taijiquan straightsword, 1st place in other-style (Chen Pan Ling) taijiquan form, 1st place in taijiquan push hands – superheavy weight division, 2nd place in taijiquan long weapon, 3rd place in taijiquan broadsword form and 3rd place in baguazhang form.
Master Green has also been the Internal Arts Competitor of the Year in 2002 and 2007, as recognized by the United States Kuo Shu Federation (USKSF).
Master Green earned a Bachelors of Science degree from University of Virginia in Engineering and a Masters of Science degree in Management Information Systems from the University of Maryland, University College. He works as an Account Manager for one of the largest software companies in the world.
Master Green’s training interests are in promoting the internal arts curriculum available through Grandmaster Huang’s instruction.
